Remittance Advice
Included with ProRemittance advice from your QuickBooks payments
Pick a payment and get a clean document showing what it settled - every bill or invoice it was applied to, each with its own amount, reconciling to the payment total.
It shows what the payment actually paid
A payment in QuickBooks is often applied across several documents, sometimes net of a credit. The remittance lists each applied document with its date, due date, type, reference number, original amount, and the amount paid against it - so the lines add up to the payment total rather than to a number the recipient has to reconstruct.
Both directions
Vendor bill payments and customer payments are both supported. The column labels follow the document type, so a vendor remittance reads "Bill" and a customer one reads "Invoice".
Formatted to hand over
The PDF is a fixed A4 layout with a header block for the payment details, a bordered column band, accountant-style parentheses on negatives, and a page-numbered footer. The Excel version freezes the top rows so the header block stays visible while scrolling a long application list.
What you get
- Customer payments and vendor bill payments
- Every applied document listed with its own amount paid
- Credits netted correctly, so the lines reconcile to the payment total
- PDF and Excel downloads
- Your connected company name in the document header
- Page-numbered footer for multi-page remittances
