Recurring Transactions
Included with ProProject your recurring QuickBooks transactions forward
Your QuickBooks file already knows what is scheduled to happen. Recurring projection reads those templates and shows the occurrences that have not happened yet, in the same report as the ones that have.
Runs on top of Saved Search - build the report once, then use it here.
Forecast rows sit beside posted rows
Projection is switched on per saved search. Pick the templates you want and a date to project through, and the future occurrences appear in the same result set as the posted transactions, sorted together. Every row is labelled, so a forecast is never mistaken for something that already happened.
Scheduled and reminder templates are distinguished
QuickBooks templates that post automatically and templates that only prompt you are both projected, but they carry different labels - a reminder is not a commitment, and the report says so. Unscheduled templates have no dates, so they are never projected.
It follows the actual schedule
Daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly schedules are honoured, including intervals greater than one, month-end handling, and end conditions like a finish date or a fixed number of occurrences. Projection starts from where QuickBooks says the template is next due, so an occurrence that already posted is not shown twice.
Projected rows carry their line detail
A recurring template stores a whole transaction, so a projected occurrence brings its lines with it - accounts, items, amounts - not just a total.
